fred coates home page unofficial fan site of Calgary woodworker craftsman and artisan ~ Fred Coates. His last few furniture pieces were a synthesis of his career. These pieces were done without the back streets and alley ways of his earlier mission spanish conquistador influenced pieces. The joints go a little deeper and the music of the wood expands from his folk and jazz roots into a classical combination of woodworking instrumentation.
